Betsy's Blossom Punched
Betsy's Blossom got a new look today. I love that big blossom, but I just had to try something that I saw on another card, and punch it out and punch it up! I stamped this one with Primrose Petals in on Whisper White paper. I used Rose Red paper for the card, and the scalloped circle, which I think compliments it nicely. I just love the simple leaves that add just a touch of color to the bold blossom. I gave everything just a little added texture from the embossing done with the Square Lattice, a little rolled edges on the flower, which I popped up extra with doubled up Dimensionals, and then added a little curve to the banner that I stamped from Curly Cute.
I have to say this is one of the easiest cards to do, and it is just too cute for summer!
Speaking of too cute, I have to share a couple photos I came across today. The first is my daughter, Laura's photo taken in June of 2011, and the second one is from June of 2012 with her beautiful daughter, Olivia Willow. What a difference a year makes.
Come back again soon, and I hope you liked your weekend, I know I did :D
