Kind & Cozy Swap
I have had a wonderful time at convention but I have been running on exhaust fumes. I had a wonderful time wandering, observing and listening. I have to admit that the highlight for me was the swapping. I love meeting new people, and I love seeing what they made. Something's are very creative, and I hope that is what they said about mine. I know that is subject to opinion. This is I made this card for an organized swap for new stamp sets. I used the Kind & Cozy stamp set, a and this was a lot of work, but worth it. First I used the gingham roller to add Gumball Green checks to the card front. Then I stamped the green gingham ring which I punched with the 2 1\2 punch. I embossed the card front, excluding the checked portion. Next I layered that circle on the card front and cut the inside circle using circle framelits. I layered a window sheet stamped with white Stazon ink to the center of the ring. I stamped flowers on either side of the ring to which I added the molded clay flowers I made colored with Raspberry Ripple reinker. Adding the green stitched satin ribbon created a nice accent. I added a raspberry heart behind the window before I layered the front piece using dimensionals to attach to green base.
I hope you enjoyed the card, and I will share more tomorrow.
