Valentines for my grandkids

This first card I made for my 4 year old granddaughter, Olivia.  I knew she'd enjoy the texture of the honeycomb accent.  Stampset used was Honeycomb Happiness from SaleABration.
This second card was made for 2 year old Maya, who is just so sweet and cuddly that the Bear Hugs card was just right for her.  She is so sweet and full of fun and energy.

My oldest granddaughter, Emily, age 11 is my first crafter buddy.  When she was 5 and moved away from my house where she'd been living for 3 years, I made her bedroom into my craft room.  When she came and saw all the craft supplies set up, she was so excited.  When her parents came to pick her up that day, she said "You have to come and see the craft room that grandma made for us!"  I still have the candy jar she made for me the next week while I was at work and she was here with grandpa.  It's covered with paper, flowers, ribbon and jewels, lots of jewels.
So her card had to be a little blinged out the way she likes it, but this time I used pearls and the lovely Bloomin' Heart thinlets die, and the Bloomin' Love stamp set.

I used the No Bones About it stampset to make 2 cards for my 2 grandsons, Kol age 4 and Grayson, age 3.  I know I should have made different ones for each of them, but I knew they would both get a kick out of the dinosaurs, and they'll never know they got the same card.  I have been dying to make a card for them with this stamp set, and I thought dinosaurs exchanging valentines was cute.  Did you notice they have hearts in their hands and mouths?

I wish that you could see all the cute Valentine cards that these sweet grandkids made for their school and daycare friends.  Olivia and Grayson both helped handcraft their Valentine treats for their friends with their own crafty creations.  Warms my heart that they take after grandma, just like I learned to love crafts from my grandma and mother.
Happy Valentines Day to all of you, my friends.

Mary Alice
