Bring on the winter stamping!
I love stamping in January, when I have new stamps and products to play with, but getting motivated this winter was kind of slow. I had a couple of swaps that I had joined and needed to make cards, but each day I searched for inspiration. I wanted an original design, but I went looking on various sites to see what others had been doing with new Stampin Up products. I kept telling myself "make something! you have a deadline". One day I was heading to my craft room and I thought to myself, I should try diffusing some oils that would stimulate my creativity. I grabbed a new oil I had called Clarity, and headed to the craft room. An idea came to me very soon, and this is the card I created. I was excited and on a roll. I had a second card designed and mostly made by the end of the day. The following day it dawned on me that maybe the Clarity had helped, so I tried it again. Sure enough, I decided to make a third set of cards for the swap, and then I went on Stampin' Connection and looked for another swap to do. I was really on a roll. Found a Valentine swap, joined and made up those cards that day. I got my mojo back and I have been so busy making cards in January. I live in Minnesota, so it's great to stay in and watch it snow while I stay cozy in my craft room. The down side is that when I make cards for swaps, I never post them on social media until after I am sure that everyone in the swap has received their cards. So, it's time to share.
This card is so simple to make with just a diagonal score on your card front. The paper is from Sending Love DSPstack. I cut the delicate hearts and flowers from Sunshine Wishes dies. The sentiment is from Suite Sentiments, and a couple little hearts stamped from Love Sparkles.
I hope you enjoy this fun Valentine, and come back to see some others I made tomorrow.
