Fast and Fun Birthdays

It's been a great weekend for stamping with the sun shining and the spring like weather, and I have been so inspired to create. I also love it when you find a sentiment that is the focal point of the card. The Big On Birthdays stamp set has wonderful large images that make for fast and fun card. I have lots of birthday cards to make in the coming weeks, and I am sure this set will get plenty of use. I started with a lovely spring floral from Bloom & Bliss DSP. Then I stamped the image and cut it with the Lots of Labels framelits. I tucked a pretty doily behind it to soften it up a little, and a couple of pearls for some sparkle. So Easy!

Stop back soon,
Mary Alice
I love that big, bold birthday sentiment! Great way to use the colors!! Thanks for sharing with us at the Color Throwdown this week!
ReplyDeleteI was a little hesitant to combine these colors for the card, but I loved the vase so much and was so inspired to play around. In the end, I loved the choices.
DeleteWow, Mary, what a beautiful way to tell someone Happy Birthday. Big and bold, I like it. And that is one of my favorite DSP's this year too! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players! Crystal
ReplyDeleteI love a pretty DSP that makes a simple card, and even better a stamped sentiment that speaks loudly. I know I will make this card over and over.
